HVAC & AC Duct Sanitization

HVAC A/C Duct Cleaning/sanitizing – An article in the April 1999 issue of Better Homes and Gardens Titled “Duct Cleaning: the inside dirt” states that a study by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that they found little reason to recommend duct cleaning as it has not been proven to improve Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). It is recommend to have your ducts sanitized with Ozone to improve Indoor Air Quality as Ozone is proven to kill Bacteria, Viruses, Mildew, Mold, Odors, Dander Etc…

The National Association of Duct Cleaners of America NADCA, issued a ban on the use of chemical sanitizers in air duct systems. The reason involved fogging in a chemical directly into the ducts, there was no way to completely sanitize the air ducts or ensure that the product was delivered along the length of the insides of the duct.

If your located in Florida contact No More Odor to have your HVAC AC Ducts completely sanitized. Not only do dirty air ducts affect IAQ it also poses many health issues for people and pets. It is highly recommended that home owners and business’s here in Florida have their HVAC system sanitized a minimum of once a year due to the high humidity here in Florida.
